Nitrogen adheres to the surface of the zeolite based on the principle that oxygen, with its smaller molecules, can pass through the zeolite, while the larger nitrogen molecules are absorbed on the zeolite’s surface. When the pressure is lowered, nitrogen is released outside the oxygen generator, while oxygen is released through the headset tube, almost pure, and the concentration level of oxygen can be adjusted as desired.
